CAPOEIRA WORKSHOP WITH PROFESSOR BOMBRIL
Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that uses dance, martial arts and mixed style of rhythm as its source of movement to develop strength, flexibility, balance and co-ordination.
Professor Bombril is a world renowned capoeira teacher with over 20 years of experience. He has travelled regularly to Brazil to train with numerous capoeira masters and visited numerous countries to teach capoeira at workshops and international events. Furthermore, Professor Bombril has won various medals and been the coach for both European and world capoeira champions.
A workshop of capoeira will include learning how to ‘ginga’ which is the basic capoeira step, several common kicks and evasions of these, simple acrobatic moves and how to start playing together.
Capoeira will be running on 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th January in S4. There are 8 spaces for each workshop. You can book your space online on the day of the workshop.
