Diary of a KX Detoxer | Jadis | Day One
After a session with Gideon to discuss the programme and a few days ‘cleaning up’ my diet in preparation I’m ready to start the detox!
The body composition results that James and Jessye had were certainly impressive, but I’m personally starting the detox as a much needed ‘re-set’. After a particularly stressful start to the year which has included home buying and selling in the UK, a search for a holiday home in Canada, setting up and staffing a new business department as well as a trips in the US and UK to speak at industry summits I was feeling a bit overstretched.
A recent bout with illness that took far too long to recover from made me stop and recognize that my normal routine of eating clean and working out just didn’t seem to be cutting it. My body needed of TLC.
Fat Callipers are a friend to no one and a particular shock to the system first thing in the morning but they are a necessary evil to track progress. The initial measurement process and a final review of my bespoke menu took 30 minutes. I then picked up my meals for the day from the restaurant and headed in to work. I was so pleased to be presented with a daily menu and all my nicely packaged food that I just HAD to tweet about it….I do work in digital after all!
I considered other detox programmes but kept coming back to KX because of the work they’ve put into developing the programme and the team available to support you through the process. From the fitness team and nutritional staff, to the chefs making my meals and even the spa therapists, everyone is adding their expertise to make sure the detox is right for me.
Even though it is day 1, this is clearly a detox with a difference and I’m excited to see how the other 6 days play out.
