Egg White Protein Pancake Recipe
Love Pancakes but worried about the carbs and calories? Undeniably delicious, the average Pancake is definitely a big no-no on most healthy eating plans, but KX Chef Alessandro has come up with a delicious alternative without compromising on taste. Allow us to introduce the KX egg white protein pancakes – the perfect satisfying and indulgent (plus protein packed and healthy) Saturday morning breakfast.
Pancakes are great. Protein pancakes are even better.
3 Egg whites
1 Almond flour
70gr Mixed berries
1 scoop Whey free protein
Beat 3 egg whites; add the almond flour and protein
Cook for 2 minutes, turn, and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Heat up two small non-stick pans.
In the first, gently heat up some mango and water then puree mango in a food processor or blender until smooth.
In the second, gently heat the berries, mash until smooth then add the mango puree and mix.
Place the pancakes in the middle of a starter plate; glaze each one with the berries and mango sauce.
Serve with a leaf of mint and a sprinkle of almond flour.
