Mount Kilimanjaro Climb | James' Journey | Diet and Nutrition

At 5,895m tall, Mount Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest freestanding mountain offering sweeping views of two of the world’s most spectacular nations, Tanzania and Kenya.

James will complete the Rongai route, experiencing all sorts of challenges on their journey to the summit, in a bid to raise £250,000 for Borne.

In preparation for his climb, James undertook the KX 7 Day Detox to reset his system, ready to begin the training process.

Following on from the 7 Day Detox, the KX team put together a detailed detox maintenance nutrition plan for James. The detox maintenance is a 21-day diet that maintains the benefits of the 7-Day Total Body Detox and continues to promote cellular cleansing and detoxification through inclusion of specific phytonutrient-rich foods and a daily juice. The 21 day maintenance plan is recommended for all detoxers to follow after completing the 7 Day Detox, and is personalised to each individual. For James, the KX fitness and nutrition team worked closely together to devise a plan that would support James throughout his training and ensure optimum condition to face the demands of Mount Kilimanjaro.
