We're off to Wilderness
Set under the canopies and parkland of Cornbury Park, the award winning Wilderness festival provides a heady combination of stunning surrounds, live music, literary arts and gastronomical delights.
Not your typical festival food, Wilderness brings together renowned restaurateurs such as Mark Hix and Russel Norman to a delightful selection of pop up eateries – we will most certainly be stopping by The Glorious Oyster and Wholefood Heaven, so festival goers are guaranteed to find a tasty treat to tantalise the tastebuds. For those wanting to get stuck in when it comes to their meals there are all even cooking classes on offer.
Arts of all sorts are represented but for those wishing to stimulate the mind can chose from a wide range of talks and debates from noteworthy figures such as the founder of the School for Startups; Doug Richards and Ex Evening Standard and Daily Telegraph Editor Sir Max Hastings. When it all gets a bit much you can meander down to the daily Headspace mediating sessions to relax and unwind.
Wilderness is a family affair with a huge variety of activities aimed at the little ones, including dressing up at the House of Fairytales, exploring the Angel gardens, becoming a Hunter-Gatherer foraging for their own dinner and Camel rides. As night begins to fall and grownups don their masks ready to attend the Bacchanalian masquerade ball, Mortimer Nannies bespoke childcare are on site with their Boutique Babysitting service.
All this, plus miles and miles of walks, cycle rides, runs and horse rides through ancient England woodland means there is sure to be something for everyone at this award winning Festival.
We can’t wait to explore The Wilderness…
