Are there different levels for classes?
All classes are available to all ability levels. However KX Yoga is recommended for beginners and Pilates Reformer classes require members to have taken a PT reformer session prior to their first class to maximise their participation in the class.
How many channels do you have on the TVs in the gym?
There are 16 channels covering news, music, sports and general interest.
Is there reception for my iPad/iPhone/Blackberry in the gym area?
There is reception in all gym areas (depending on network provider). Members can also use our free wireless internet connection in all areas of the club.
What does KX stand for?
KX (kickz) noun. 1. A place where human potential may be realised 2. an enviroment conducive to maximum expression 3. where evolution happens.
Can my guest attend classes?
Yes, the same booking procedure applies as for members.
What type of personal training is on offer and how can I organise a trainer?
We have a wide range of personal training sessions available covering: Strength & Conditioning; Fat loss; Xtend barre; Pilates (Mat and Reformer); Yoga; Kickboxing; Muay Thai; and Boxing.
All PT sessions are available on a one-to-one or group basis.
Do I pay extra for classes?
No, all classes are included in your membership fee.
Can I do PT at KX as a non-member?
No, unfortunately PT is only available to KX members.
What are the times that the gym gets busy?
The gym is generally busiest from 9am until 12pm and from 6pm until 7.30pm, but even at peak times there is plenty of space and equipment available.

Can you book a consultation prior to committing to a treatment appointment.
Yes, you can book a 15 minute complimentary consultation for all therapies.
What time do you close?
10pm Monday to Friday, 7pm on weekends.
Can I send my guests into the restaurant to have food if I’m not there?
No, afraid not.
Can I order some food to send into the nail lounge?
No sorry, no food is allowed in the spa.
Do you do take away?
Yes we do and not only that, we deliver!
Do you have an off peak/peak membership option?
All of our memberships give you unlimited access to the club at any time of day as we do not have peak times.
Am I able to bring guests in to the club?
Upon joining, a member will be allocated an amount of electronic guest passes. Your guest needs to be accompanied by you or you can register their name with the front desk prior to their arrival.
Are the classes inclusive of membership?
Yes you can attend as many classes as you wish as they are all included in your membership.
Can I freeze my membership?
We can freeze your membership for medical reasons and pregnancy supported by a doctor’s letter for a maximum of six months.
